Define success.

What does success mean to you? Is it money? Fame? Volunteering in a third world country? Be honest. Define success as you enter college and keep use it as a basis for your decisions.

Living chem-free in college

It may come as a surprise to some, but not all college students like to drink. That’s why most college’s offer chem-free (or substance-free) housing. Students that sign up for chem-free dorms sign a contract pledging never drink or smoke on or off campus. The consequences for breaking the contract are often strict and, in some cases, result in being kicked off campus.

That said, only join chem-free if you are actually chem-free. If your parent forced you to into it or you are simply not sure, call reslife and switch out. The risks are simply not worth it.

If you are considering chem-free housing, feel free to ask us questions! There is usually a great sense of community within chem-free dorms, but it is certainly not for everyone.
